Lindsey Carmela Bartlett is an author, photographer, and social media editor who has documented the evolutionary cannabis industry for the past decade. Born in Denver, Colorado, today she resides in Long Beach, California. Bartlett is a current contributor at Forbes and Insider and a two-time judge at The Emerald Cup. Her career includes roles at The Denver Post and The Cannabist, which was the first cannabis publication ever founded by a Pulitzer Prize-winning daily newspaper. Her reporting grew to include an industry focus at MJBizDaily and Hemp Industry Daily, where Bartlett led social media coverage for MJBizCon, the largest cannabis business conference series in the world. She has taken on writing, social media, and editing roles at Weedmaps, Green Entrepreneur, Westword, Marijuana Moment, MJBizDaily, Leafly, and Merry Jane. Jon is a guy and he’s done some pretty cool stuff in his 33 years on the rock. He’s also been high for most of it. Sarah Schwefel is an advocate for patients and plant medicine. After moving half way across the country for access to legal cannabis for her health in late 2018, she become engulfed in the cannabis and hemp industry determined to learn more to better help herself and other patients. She has spoken at various events teaching about plant medicine and advocating for patients needs, has written for publications and websites, and reviews products helping patients find the best on the market. Jocelyn Sheltraw is the co-founder of Budist, a cannabis product reviews & ratings platform launching soon. Prior to Budist, she spent 4.5 years as the Head of Industry Relations at Headset, the leading data and analytics company for the cannabis industry. Jocelyn currently serves on the Board of Directors of the California Cannabis Industry Association, the Advisory Board for American National Standards Institute, and lectures at StartSe University, an international business school. As I maneuvered through the workforce I found my purpose into helping people find resources that helped them through the difficulties of life. After 8 years in education I pivoted into social work and found with my passion for cannabis and my will to help people in different communities, I could combine my passions to make sure that people in the Cannabis Community get the resources that they need, whether it’s what type of flower helps them with what their going through, or even giving cultivators a platform where they are celebrated for their talents.
