Her career includes roles at The Denver Post and The Cannabist, which was the first cannabis publication ever founded by a Pulitzer Prize-winning daily newspaper. Her reporting grew to include an industry focus at MJBizDaily and Hemp Industry Daily, where Bartlett led social media coverage for MJBizCon, the largest cannabis business conference series in the world. She has taken on writing, social media, and editing roles at Weedmaps, Green Entrepreneur, Westword, Marijuana Moment, MJBizDaily, Leafly, and Merry Jane. Bartlett is a cannabis media fellow alumni of the UVM Pace Plant Biology program and the Associate Editor for industry trade show Hall of Flowers.

Currently the VP of Content for High Times, he is an acclaimed weed snob recognized as the Cannabis Lifestyle Reporter of the Year for 2022 by Benzinga. Having judged every major cannabis competition, including the Clio’s, he publishes a monthly collection of his favorite new products, dubbed the Stone-Cold Cop List, for High Times, as well as feature profiles on his favorite brands. A lifelong creative, Jon has been finding ways to work in the music and greater entertainment industries since he was a tween. Starting out leading street teams and building ‘record labels’ to release his friends music, he grew to produce and lead experiential activations on a national scale, including creating a ‘Best Practice’ utilized nationally & annually by the energy-kingpin Red Bull. Sarah Schwefel is an advocate for patients and plant medicine. After moving half way across the country for access to legal cannabis for her health in late 2018, she become engulfed in the cannabis and hemp industry determined to learn more to better help herself and other patients. She has spoken at various events teaching about plant medicine and advocating for patients needs, has written for publications and websites, and reviews products helping patients find the best on the market. In 2020 she became certified in endocannabinoid medicine from the American Journal of Endocannabinoid Medicine, allowing her to analyze cannabinoid research on a deeper level. On her Instagram @Rising_Zebra, Sarah shares her journey with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and trying to live her best life with plant medicine, teaching as much as she can along the way.

She is a recognized industry thought leader, influencer, public speaker, and community builder, and it’s through this work to which she was recently nominated by Global Cannabis Times as one of the ‘100 Most Influential People’. She is currently a Ganjier in training, and hoping to become certified in October.
